Unification of Movement: Gandhi and Tana Bhagat
Our research delved into the historical significance of the Tana Bhagat movement, particularly within the context of Jharkhand, India. The study, conducted in collaboration with the same institute, consisted of seven comprehensive chapters exploring various aspects of the movement and its unification with Mahatma Gandhi's principles. Through extensive field studies and thorough examination of primary sources, we unveiled the transformative power of the Tana Bhagat movement. This research highlighted how their religious beliefs evolved, reshaping their socio-cultural life and aligning with Gandhi's principles.
Khatauri Community: A Glimpse into a Unique Culture
In collaboration with the esteemed Dr. Ramdayal Munda Tribal Welfare Research Institute, Manthan Yuva Sansthan embarked on a profound journey to explore the Khatauri community of Jharkhand.Through meticulous field visits, interviews, and discussions, we uncovered a wealth of insights into their language, traditions, and way of life.This extensive research spans seven chapters, shedding light on various aspects of the Khatauri community, including their language, social customs, religious beliefs, economic activities, and challenges they face.Our findings revealed a unique culture with distinct practices and highlighted existing economic and educational challenges.
Living Traditions: Munda and Oraon Customary Laws
In partnership with the Dr. Ramdayal Munda Tribal Welfare Research Institute, we embarked on another journey to explore the significance of customary laws in the lives of the Munda and Oraon tribes. Our research focused on understanding the living, breathing aspects of these customs that shape the present-day realities of these communities. Through words, stories, and pictures, we discovered the deep-rooted importance of these traditions. This research emphasized the dynamic relationship between tradition and the law, showcasing the resilience and adaptability of these tribal communities. These studies represent Manthan Yuva Sansthan's commitment to uncovering and celebrating hidden treasures of culture and tradition. By understanding and preserving these customs, we aim to ensure they continue to thrive, adapting to changing times while preserving the essence of our diverse heritage.
